I had posted a previous thread detailing how, in spite of my calling to confirm with both DirecTV and Mastec prior to the install, they did not come for my AM appointment, then after promising me that I was a "priority" install and that they would be there between 8-12 Sunday, also did not sow up Sunday.
At any rate, we set the install for Friday as my wife was able to work from home. This time they set me up for early AM, 6-8 A Time I did not realize existed. At any rate, the installer called about 7:00 for directions and was here by 7:15 when it was barely light enough to see outside.
He did an excellent job and got everything up and running despite one of the HR20s being DOA. He secured the new multiswitch in my wiring can and even used the angle connectors I left for him.
After my wife saw everything they have to do including waiting for over an hour for the software to download before he could proceed I can see why they are never on time, they just do not allow for enough time per install. Even though we already ahd all the wires in place to a central location it took the guy almost 4 hours to install the new dish and 2 HR20s.
