Hi,
Due to lack of planning on MY part, I only have one coax that runs from the multiswitch in the basement, to the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. It's way too much of a hassle to run a 2nd coax, tons of interior walls, etc. etc.
I have a spare port on the multiswitch in the basement.
Is there any kind of device that will allow me to combine two coaxes @ the multiswitch, to run across the one coax through all the walls, and then split them again just before my HR20, so I can plug in two tuners?
I know a *little* bit about the multiswitch and D*, and know that a simple "splitter" will not work, as there are the low voltages supplied FROM the receiver towards the multiswitch, etc. But, it seems conceivable to me that some company would have figured out a way to create some kind of a widget that does what I want. Is there such an animal, or am I still out of luck?
Thanks!
