Wondering if anyone knows when NFL Network is gonna get some new in-studio cameras so that they can broadcast their main shows, such as Total Access which runs about 10 times a day, in HD.

Right now the only programs they show in HD are the "NFL Replay" game replays from Sunday/Monday and the "America's Game" series.

Kinda disappointed as I was hoping when this channel launched we'd see a lot more HD from them. I don't want to get used to the black bars on the left & right.

Also, what happened to the MSG logo that was all over the place (ads, tv, D* Web site) indicating that MSG HD would be here "soon?" I'm not seeing it anymore

EDIT: I just saw it fly by ... its between CNN HD & NFL NET HD ... any inside as to when we might get it?

Any new update on The NHL Network launch??

I don't know when "NFL Total Access" will go HD but I do agree with you that it is very disappointing that it is not in HD. I thought for sure it would have been.

I agree, and I've been searching for an email address to voice my complaint. Although as bad as the Ravens are playing this year, I can't bring myself to relive the pain during the week anyhow.

They've had more than a year to get ready and it's sort of disappointing that they weren't ready the season... hello!

From what I remember NFL Network rents their studio space and it's not HD capable.
Eventually when they move to their own studio that will change.

i read just yesterday that the NFL owners may do away
with the network all together....something about
comcast winning a judges order that they can offer it
in a higher tier of pricing packages & not just a basic
channel....NFL is concerned about the broadcast of their
thurs & sat night broadcasts will not reach enough viewers

But, just as it is with ESPN games.....the game is always aired on one of the local stations.

For instance....this year, the Texans/Broncos game will be a Thursday night game. While the Texans are usually broadcast on CBS channel 11.....that Thursday night game on the NFL Network will be aired on a local channel 51 in Houston.

I don't care about them doing away with Thursday and Saturday night games really. I just hope they don't can the NFL Network.
