I had just got a r15-500 installed today and i was not home at the time, but my mother in law was and had figured all had went well. I came home to see the new receiver hooked up and i had noticed there was a splitter in the back of the receiver? and not two direct lines. So i had asked my mother in law what the installer had said, and she told me that he told her that he could not run another line to the dvr unless she had wrote a check out to him for $60.00!! :mad: She then refused and told him that she had FREE professional install and he said well i might have something in the truck and then had probably realized she wasnt buying his scam and just hooked a splitter up . . .
all in all only one of the dvrs tuners do not work because of this and i had called the install company and they are sending someone out tomorrow. I spoke to a supervisor at the install company and said that he might have mentioned something about a "wall fish?" He did not though .. but has anyone ever heard of this because i certainly have not and seems to me he tried to rip me off!
PS. I have had my HR20-100 installed and i know that i get two lines included in the install
