MultiSwitch ??s - 2 R10 & Sony

Currently have one R10 and A55 Sony connected to 4 line oval dish. Arguing with myself whether to go with HD now or down the road! But, for now, have a second R10 that I want to hook up in computer room and keep the Sony in the M/bedroom. Can a 3X4 multiswitch be used on 2 of the lines to feed the 2nd R10 and the Sony, and the other 2 lines direct feed the orig R10??

Secondly, will this work if I move to HD (R20) and new dish, keeping the backroom R10 and A55??

Yes, and no.

You can do it... but you will have to re-configure your R10's to be a SINGLE dish... as you will only have the 101 SAT available.

And depending on the channels you use (and were your locals are)... that may or may not work for you.


And no... it won't work when you upgrade to HD... you will have to consider a different setup, and or with the SWM
