I am new to the forum and couldn't find this answer in a search. I have had the TIVO HD DVR for a few years but yesterday they brought me a new HR21-700. The installer said it was the first he had installed. My question is whether anyone has succeeded in getting a dual feed of the HD signal. My primary feed is a JVC DILA G20 projector but for "utility" viewing during the day I have a SD TV which I want to upgrade to HD. The question is whether there is a way to get an HD signal for both the JVC and another smaller desktop TV. There is no HDMI input on the JVC and the Desktop would be about 30 feet away from the DVR without the need for digital sound so an HDMI for that would be expensive overkill. Can the component output be doubled up on and will there be a significant loss of signal to the JVC? Thanks for any suggestions.

If you want to share the component output, the best bet to avoid signal loss and any issues is to get a video switch.

Welcome to :welcome_s petrose. You have simultaneous outputs from the HR so you're all good there. Assuming you leave the component in place for your main TV, it's cheaper than you think to run a 30 foot or so HDMI cable (with audio btw) to the 2nd TV.

Here's a in-wall cable at monoprice.com
