HD locals

Does anyone have any ideas what would cause all of my HD locals to intermitently go to nothing but a grey screen, then a few hours later be working fine?? I don't get a "searching for signal" message, its just a grey screen. Its done this 2 or 3 times today

Post back with your signal readings for each transponder on the 99(b), 103(a) and 103(b) satellites. Also, what brand/model Receiver or DVR are you using?

Those readings could be higher. You should contact DirecTV and request that your dish be aligned optimally.

With no "searching" message it could indicate a problem, or work going on, at the site where D* receives your locals for uplink.

If that's the case, it should straighten out on its own and there is probably nothing you could do, anyway.

Although yes, your sat signals should be higher.
