On the slimline, how much to the adjustment settings vary? My dad had his slimeline wacked by a tree, and does not have the protection plan. Can I just pickup a new dish, and dial in the same settings as mine? We only live a few blocks away.

With in a "few blocks"... no the settings are not going to be that different...

You just have to adjust for the different angle that mounting bracket may be.

Awesome, any idea where I can fine a slimline? Checked BB and CC websites with no luck.
