My Direct TV service was installed last Friday and I am loving it. I have the HD20 DVR and since I was a previous TIVO user, I caught on fairly quickly about how to use it. However, I can't figure out how to set up a TIVO-like "Wish List". I read the sticky info about switching from TIVO to DTV but the part about Autorecord (the workaround for the TIVO wish list function) is not clear to me. I hit menu, search, then select Person or Keyword and enter the person or keyword I want, but get so many results from the search that it's useless information. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for helping a newbie!

The work around for your issue is to do a keyword search and then filter the search. When you enter in the work, you hit ok. Then you come into a screen that gives you categories. So if you are looking for NFL, go down to -> sports -> football. If you filter your searches like what I have mentioned that will help you get relavent content like the wishlist function. Then you can autorecord the entire list or setup series links (same as season pass) for items in the search.
I don't know if this is what you're looking to do. My wife is hook on ice skating and wants all shows with that keywork. So do a search by keyword, press continue, then select sports as the category then skating in the sub cataegory which then comes up with either a list of hit or nothing, either way select Autorecord and then set up the recording options, this works for her.
