I have Directv and they just added Mynetworktv local HD in Philadelphia. I am not getting any sound. Is this a problem with Directv or my receiver. Is anyone else having this problem?

Im not in Philly, so I couldnt tell you for certain.
Have you tried the stupid shtuff though, like resetting the receiver?

Call D* and/or your local affiliate and find out if there is a broadcast issue?

If your receiver has an option to turn off Dolby Digital see if that helps.

The receiver has an option to turn on english1 dd or english 2 Dolby Digital I had it on english 1 then went to english 2 Dolby Digital it work then I went off the channel no sound is there a save button?

That could be a local issue... (Them broadcasting their audio on the wrong track).

Until somone else from the area can check there setup... it is hard to figure out if it is DirecTV's issue or the broadcaster.

Earl, I got a big question? Has D* announced when they are going start lighting up HD locals especially for Chico - Redding, CA? If they did, are they going to be lit before the end of the year or January when D11 goes up?
