My neighbor just got Cox HD tonight and let me tell you it looks great. I like the fact you get local HD feeds instead of OTA which I don't really like. I might have jumped tonight, but I have still one more week of NFLST. Though they do have MLBEI....

Interesting no showtime HD, did not even make their chart.

708 PBS KAET 8 DT
715 ABC KNXV HD
723 Discovery HD Theater
730 HBO HD (West)
731 HBO HD (East)
740 Showtime HD (West)

If I had that on my local cable, it would be very tempting to switch back. Unfortunately my local cable company does not have HDTV and it costs $40/month more.

I can get MLBEI with Cox so maybe I'll switch. My sony HD receiver is getting old...

I am jealous James. Here Cox is awful. They bought out a system run by Media General. Yours seems to be much better. I wish you all the best.

I may have to start posting in the "But you always have to convince the wife..." thread. :D

Get my HD OTA, no problems with that!

Guess I finally break down and buy that SW64 switch!

I hate OTA. Why should I have to put up with that? I would wait around for Dish/DirecTV to add HD Locals, but even with the merger it seemed like that wasn't going to happen. As my wife pointed out, we already use Cox for Telephone and high speed internet.
