I will have to move out of my house for a whole year for remodeling...can I freeze my account for that long?
Also, I would like to prewire things as much as possible...by the time it will be done (May of 2009) would an SWM be the way to go? I would probably end up with 2 HR-20 (or the equivalent) and one H-20 (or the equivalent)...

Can't answer the account freezing question, however, I can offer an opinion on the wiring.
While an SWM would be the way to go in 2009, I'm sure, why not go for overkill if you're already going to move out of your house for an entire year? No one knows what lies ahead and what you'll need or what service you'll be using at that point anyway. Expandability would be key. If I was currently building (possibly next year or the year after, so I've thought about this a bit), I'd probably have 4 rg6 minimum pulled to each room, even if one pair was coiled behind a blank wall plate for future use. I'd also have rj-45 pulled to each location, if not phone as well.
Also, think about a conduit from basement to attic while things are open, which I assume they would be if you're going to need to move out for 12 months for the remodel. Cables can be run through it, and you can pull some thin rope as well for pulling wires in the future -- really helps if you need to expand later, no need for cutting holes, drilling through floor plates, and patching afterwords.
In my opinion, and others my differ, having things done and finished without needing to cut into walls or floor, or fish anything blindly for the foreseeable future, greatly outweighs the minimal cost of a few feet of RG-6 in the grand scheme of things.

You can suspend it for up to 9 months.
If you are pre-wiring it I would just wire the house for what you need and use a Zinwell WB68 multi-switch. I would not worry about the SWM.
Just run two lines to each room that has a DVR and one line if you are using an OTA.
Then one line to the room that will have the H20 and one line if you are using an OTA.
I would also run two cat5e/6 cables to each room also.
Then run all the lines to one location in the house and you should be good to go.

So since technically I am not moving would I have to pay D* to come out and reattach/align my dish and pay for a multi-switch after construction is done?

Do you already have a 5 LNB dish?
If you do you could possibly use the movers connection (even though you are not moving) and have them re-mount it for you and install a Zinwell WB68 multi-switch for free. But you will probably need to sign a new 2 year contract. I believe that will work but not sure. You will need to call and ask.
If you don't have a 5 LNB dish already you can have them come out and install the dish and MS for free. Both are free upgrades. But you will need to sign a new 2 year contract.

I already have the dish, etc...just do not need a multiswitch at this point so that would be the only thing I need (although it would be nice for them to remount/align...I'll call I guess and see how the mover connection works...
