I wonder if anyone else has this quirk. On my R15-100, if I am watching a recorded show and fast-forward through the commercials via a multiple 30-second slip (say 4 or 5 times) and a movie advertisement happens to be in the commercial block. My DVR stops fast-forwarding right at the beginning of the movie commercial. This happens without fail for every recording on every channel.

Frankly, it pisses me off. I don't want to watch the commercial or be forced to do so.

I've had this happen with movie trailers. LA Ink coming attractions (for some reason the old school flash bulb would freeze the picture during 30 second jump). I agree that it's frustrating but it hasn't killed me yet.

Whoa! I wonder if it's some type of content in the movie commercial that is "fooling" the DVR into thinking it's slip is at the end. If not, I just hope it doesn't start happening when Billy Mays comes on to push his crummy cleaners or that old clown telling you about a "free meter from Liberty". Those are the commercials that make the $5.99 DVR fee so worthwhile. :D
