View Full Version : NBC Sunday Night Football on Sunday Ticket
I was just wondering why D* can't show the NBC Sunday Night Football game on Sunday ticket for those of us who aren't lucky enough to get an NBC affiliate on D* or OTA? I have waivers for every channel except NBC on D* and I can't pick up any NBC at all on my antenna. Thank you for any info you guys can add on the subject.:)

Sunday Ticket is only Sunday afternoon games. Period.
In all other cases there are not any competing games.

Because that is the way the NFL packaged the deals.
CBS/Fox get Sunday day games. And Saturday games later in the season.
NBC gets Sunday night games.
ESPN gets Monday night games.
NFL Network gets late season Thursday games.
Other Thursday games (including Thanksgiving) doled out to the nets.
Sunday Ticket is only CBS/Fox Sunday games.
Ask the NFL why....

I think Thanksgiving late game is NFL Network .. at least it was last year.

Just get a waiver from your local NBC station. There IS a way if you're persistent, and creative. ;)

It's not DirecTV's decision. The NFL dictates what gets shown when, where and how.

Actually the NFL Network gets all late season Thursday games starting with their Turkey Day late broadcast (Fox/CBS get the early Turkey Day games) and all Saturday games.:)

call your local TV repair shops and have them come out and do a signal test. This may cost you $25 or so since it takes like 10 minutes and travel. maybe $50. but if they do a signal test and YOU QUALIFY, you will have NBC THAT NIGHT. all this guy has to do is contact D* and your in. Especially since you already have waivers for everything else.
YES YOU CAN BEAT THE MAN. Damn the man.
