My 721 has worked flawless until the last few weeks.
Problem #1:
Within the last couple of weeks the guide no longer seems to maintain the 2 day list. If I do a reboot I get the guide through midnight of the next day, (I'm on 119 only) however it never seems to update so that come midnight on the next day I only get the current channels and have no info available for everything after that. Once I do a reboot I get the full guide back.

Problem #2:
We have started to get blank recordings. Last weeks Ed shows in the list but when I try to play it I just get a blank screen.

I have a dish 300 with a dual lnb, no switch, signal strength in the 80s.

Any thoughts or help?

Are you feeding both lines from the dual LNB into the two inputs on the 721?

All the second tuner functionality works fine, pip, record on two channels etc. Do you think it could be a problem with my lnb?

For problem #1, I think the 721 is confused because it expects to be able to get the 7 day guide from 110, and it's not getting. It only tries to get the 48 hour guide after a reboot.

For #2, I'm stumped. Are your locals (OTA networks) on 119?

You might have the tuner 1 loss of signal hardware issue

That input problem appears common and has differeing affects for different folks...

The input problem cannot be fixed by a satellite software upgrade can it? Are the replacements having the same issue with them or did they fix the faulty problem causing this in new receivers or receivers replacing the faulty ones?
