Check your DVR. The episode this week is the one that was originally supposed to air last week and got pre-empted for the 20/20 special on the CA Fires. My HR20 didn't get a guide update so it thinks it recorded the episode last week and is not set to record it this week.

Same thing happened on my 522. Luckily I caught it and manually overrode the skip. So it looks like this is an issue for both E* & D* DVR's.

I did nothing to intervene and BL recorded just as it should have on Tue at 9:02 p.m.

I just checked the recording and it's there.

Now...it might have worked, because I deleted the prior week's recording (where fire coverage replaced BL). In any case, I didn't do anything and it recorded just fine on my HR20-700 (set as series link)

My HR20-700s didn't record it, but my HR10-250s did without a hitch. Go figure.

My R15 did not record this Series Link.
The "History" had nothing mentioning why, and nothing in the To-Do list either.

Boston Legal seems to be jinxed as far as getting recorded for some reason!! I constantly have to pay attention to my R15 to be sure it's in the TO DO list even though it is set up as a series link. I wonder if the guide data from TMS is somehow goofing things up?

PS: It's a great show, isn't it?? :D

I really enjoy Boston Legal--one of the few network shows I do watch--so I guess I'll have to wait for re-runs to catch this missed episode. Wonder if anyone could tell me the name of the episode so I can be on the lookout for it?

It's in HD, which I have problems turning into a DVD. SD? A piece of cake.

I couldn't fine Boston Legal on abc.com either. It was not listed as one of the episodes available.:mad: Are there other sources?

I did change my settings to record all episodes so I guess that affords some protection in the future, although with my luck something else will go wrong.:nono:

It is not on iTunes either. Appears to be gone if you missed it. I didn't get it on either HR20 or my 10-250. Oh well.

BL is not a program ABC makes available online. Additionally, I didn't know about this forum, and both my HR20 and HR10-250 didn't record. I'm bummed.

I remember this happened once last year. I eventually ended up using BitTorrent (the ONLY time I've ever done this) to download the episode from the net. It was painful and lengthy, but it eventually worked. Based on a quick search, "Hope and Glory" episode is not yet posted on any of the pirate sites. I do not recommend this approach, unless you are desperate to stay caught up.
