If you've purchased it you can watch it as many times as you would like for no extra charge.

Yep til the expiration date...
Is this true? I thought the expiration date went away once you purchased it and that the date was only used for the record first/watch later feature.

Any guess on how long that is? I'll have to test this out next time I purchase a movie. Hmmm... I have always been under the impression that if you paid for it, you could keep it as long as you wanted or had space for it. I've never hit any expiration on a purchased PPV obviously... I delete them as soon as we watch them.
Thanks,
Bob

This is really what I'd like to know as well
I order PPV online only and the last time I did...I paid, watched and tried to watch again...but when I hit the play button, it asked if I wanted to purchase again. So, I didn't have the option to watch it again. I don't know if that's because I ordered online and not through the receiver or what. Now, I just record it on DVD, in case I wanna watch it again.

The expiration date goes away once you've watched it.
I've still got a couple of PPV's on one of my HR20's from months ago.

I recorded my very first PPV (on one of the hd channels) a couple weeks ago but was unable to watch it that day. I forgot about it until a few days ago but when I went to watch it, it would not allow me access beyond the first few minutes.
Guess i need to call D* for a refund.

I have a few PPVs on my HR10-250, and I have watched them a few times with no issues (or additional charges). I will be getting a couple of HR20s later this month, and I'm assuming that this would work the same way on the new boxes.
