721 Search takes a dump

Here's a real great one for you all... :(

I tried doing a Search from my History list last night and everything I try to search on comes back with this for a match:

AUX  11:16 PM

Depending on what I try to search for, the matches come back in random amounts, sometimes 21 or 56, or whatever random number it feels like generating. All matches come back for the same day shown above and all are on channel AUX at 11:16 PM. The History list now has a mysterious entry that I never made too, it's: hl0hl 


If I try adding the match event to the timers all it does is switch me to the AUX input and I have a black screen.


I tried rebooting, then pulling the smart card, and finally unplugging the unti for 1 minute -- I am S.O.L. with the Search function now! A call to D* resolved nothing, other than a report being filed about the problem.

BTW, I have the L107 software, and I never had this problem before! I guess it's my Merry Christmas from E*

OK, three days of no Search function and now for some unknown reason, it's back!

This is almost as if M$ made the 721's OS. :(

I had this problem last night as well. I shut down the unit, unplugged it and the smartcard in order to perform a reboot. Since then it is fine.

If M$ had written the 721 OS, it would be called Ultimatetv and would work great! Don't know what went wrong with the DP, but they definitely have mastered the art of PVR software, a little too late for DP owners, though.
