Ok, one last question for the nite....

I have just bought my HD programming...I am going to get my new HUGE TV Sat and a 2nd HD DVR box....

Installers are coming MONDAY....ugh...

I will have TV and BOX Sat. afternoon, what channels will be available to me in HD until I get the HD Dish on the roof Monday?

My big concerns are the Sports Subscriptions....any chance Sunday Ticket is going to be available to me Sunday or will I have to wait for the new dish?

Same Question for Center Ice Saturday nite! BLUES vs. BLACKHAWKS!!!!

I searched all over their website and could not find anything, although I have been told by DTV Techs that SOME channels are already available on the old dish....

I was using my HR-20 for a couple days with my old 3LNB dish. I installed my 5LNB myself lastnight.

Using the 3LNB you will only be able to recieve channels 70-76 78, 79 You will only be able to get 70 and 71 if you are subscribed to HBO and or showtime

I believe the current sports subscriptions are still viewable on the 3LNB, next year you will HAVE to have the 5LNB dish and an MPEG4 reciever.

This applies to NFL Sunday Ticket, and NHL CI IIRC. SOmeone chime in if this is incorrect, I'm not a subscriber to either.

That's right. It was previously announced that NFL Sunday Ticket will require the new dish and MPEG4-compatible equipment next season.

Sunday Ticket is still MPEG2 on the old sats. Most HD on NHL CI and NBA LP are in MPEG4 up on the new sats.
