My personal opinion, is that ABC is doing this intentionally on several of their shows just to cause problems with people recording. Setting the prioritizer should determine which one is recorded, but that doesn't always work.

I thought my DVR time was off but it is starting to sound like it is being manipulated by the networks. It has been very frustrating with ABC this fall season. Many of their prime time shows start and stop late but the DVR guides do not reflect this. It has been happening to CBS and FOX as well, but to a lesser extent.

My DVR guide reflects it.

But that doesn't help with programming conflicts.

I turn the offending show(s) into a reoccurring manual record. (The last minute or so tends to be commercials and promos anyway. ) This allows everything else to record without conflict. I also think that ABC is doing this on purpose to foul up the recording of shows on other networks. They have even gone as far a 3 minutes into the next slot to make you think twice about clipping the end of their show. I have also seen NBC doing this, but they seem to have backed off a bit.

At any rate, I now have a number of shows that record manually due to this.

It's not easy!

In the past we just scheduled recording by time using our two old SD recorders without NBR. NBR requires careful prioritizing and a recognition that if you want both Numbers and Las Vegas, ABC will foul everything up. I still set everything by timer an chose to miss the end of WMC, which tends to be soap drama after the case is solved. I could have missed the beginning of one of the others or had one not in HD since I still have my two old 508s. It's frustrating.

Thanks Steve :) I caught a little bit of this show one time and to my surprise actually liked it. But I couldn't remember what channel it was on, what time, or even the exact name of the show  I just found it channel surfing and you know how that goes. So now I have all the information I need to watch it

Just the opposite here. I recorded the first episode and just couldn't get into it, I would have liked to but with already recording about 20 shows a week that I can't keep up with, plus Friday night Sabres games, I had to let Womens Murder Club go.

We're still on the fence with it here. We've got the series link set up still, but I'm not sure if it'll last the whole season. We'll probably give it a few more episodes and see how it goes... I *think* I like it, but I'm just not sure yet. :)

I for one was disappointed with it. The books are really good but they seem to have built a lot more soap opera stuff into the tv series. Too much of that and not enough of the criminal plots for my taste. I'll stick with the books and have deleted the timer for this series.
