When will the second Ethernet be enabled?

Anyone know if they are going to enable the 2nd ethernet port as a passthrough? I could sure use it.

I can't believe that I now need 3 ethernet cables running to my TV/DTV/Receiver. Never thought I would see that. Probably just going to have a ethernet switch out there by the TV soon.

I assume you have an HR20-100? The HR21 is already setup that way. Not sure if the HR20-100 will ever have that capability. An ethernet switch/hub is probably the way to go. They're pretty cheap.

HR20-100... the 2nd port isn't planned to be enabled (IIRC).

I would recommend going with a switch/hub... or even maybe a wireless router... that is what I do now, and I have my wireless access point right there in the main room (and a 2nd one else where in the house)

Yes I have the HR20-100. I was hoping that since its there, it would at least be enabled as a bridge.

I have an unused 10Mbs switch somewhere. Just more stuff to clog things up under the TV.

I'm still a happy camper.
