I have come across this numerous times where some timers schedules are blank, even though I know there is something that is supposed to record. I have a work around for this, but I would like to know why it's happening and what the solution is to fix this permanently.
Let's say it's Monday and Prison Break, Heroes, and Journeyman are all set to DVR "new' episodes and it normally does. However, I looked at the next day's schedule and those shows are not listed. When I go to the individual timer's schedule, it is blank. I have to go to the "Options" menu and switch it from "New" to "All", hit done. Then I check it and YEP, there are episodes scheduled as they should be. Now I can go back and switch them to "New" and everything is all good.
I have had this happen numerous times where a timer is not triggered because it was just blank. I have Sunrise Earth on Animal Planet-HD set as M-F "Auto tune" and more often than not, it does not do as it si supposed to. When I check that timer's schedule, it's blank sometimes.
Really frustrating.
