Does On Demand Eat up Space?

Before plugging into the internet with the amount of shows I have set to seasons pass, at any time I will typically have ~ 3 weeks of shows saved before they start over writing.

I plugged the net in and enabled video on demand but don't have any of it saved... and when I go to my list I only have 1 week of shows saved.


Am I crazy or has anyone else noticed their drive space has drastically shrunk? I expected to lose a little space but not that much.

No, I would have to say that I have not noticed any change in available space....

Downloads from DoD do take up space in your MyPlaylist.
(Those are recordings that YOU selected)

Content that DirecTV pushes down, goes into a reserve area, that is NOT reflected on your hard drive space meter
