UHF remotes? How about different remote addresses? Is it true that D trickles the guide down on all transponders continiously?

I don't think they have UHF remotes. Both of mine (Sony and Philips) don't. The remote can have a different address, say if you want to control two TiVo's.

And I believe that they trickle down the guide continuously, because when you start up your receiver, it has to acquire the guide data for about 60 seconds before you can watch TV.

Sad tey didnt include UHF remotes. I keep most of my receivers in the basement. Less stuff around, and no hard drive noise issues.

How many addresses are available?

What's the big deal Bob? I have the same setup with BOTH D-Tivo & Replay that I send through the entire house. Just get some of those X-10 remote pyramids & you all set!

BTW, I believe there are at least 8 addresses available.

Well that will work fine. Any remotes prgrammable for E & D with PVR functions.

One remote for both because of that sky angel lifetime...

I am sad about how this is going, up to now I really liked E. No doubt my E sources all hate me for what I hae posted. For me its more than TV its a hobby...

You could get those kits where you can turn the channels in the other room, the cone kits.
