Greetings!

I'm getting ready to buy a Dish PVR 721, and I'm curious who has the best price out there? I'm also trying to figure out if any of there 'free equipment' options apply to a purchase of a 721? Can I get the 721 instead of whatever they're giving away and get a partial credit or something?

I'd like to buy it at sears, as I had a sales man there really take care of me on a TV purchase, but they seem to have dothing better than just the 'retail' deal...

Any info or suggestions are much appreicated! Thanks!

Mick

Maybe if you find a good deal then they will have a price match or beat the price.

Currently the PVR 721 dosen't qualify for DISH Networks promotions but new promotions will start in Feb.

My thoughts on this matter were to wait till Sears has one of those "10% of everything in the store" promotions and then go in and buy it then, and then use my sears card which (they said recently) would be an additional 10% of my NEXT purchase (since I haven't used it for so long, apparently).

I also had thoughts that maybe it would be worth buying the full 721 package and then selling the brand new dish and DP twin on Ebay -- since I would think it would go for more than $50 -- maybe not.

Try dishusa.com for their 721 package deals.

I did find an online e-tailer selling the 721 for $398, with no commitment and no penalty for reciever replacement.

I also heard that compusa would be selling the DISH products soon -- and hopefully they might have some promotions when they first introduce the DISH products into the store?!

If you have a local DISH retailer who is willing to sell below the retail price, Sear should price match and then beat the difference by an extra 10% (of the difference only).

My problem is that in Denver, CO area -- I haven't found anyone selling the 721 for anything but full retail price -- and Sears will only price match a local store (not an online store either, unless its local).

Anyone know of a good price on the 721 in Denver, CO metro area ?

I'm in Denver and I got my 721 from Wireless Advantage for $499 back in November. But if you can get it on-line for $398 then $499 isn't that good of a price.

Oops - I meant to say I saw it online for 498, not 398 !

Do they have a website?

Was that advantage wireless, or wireless advantage?

I think it was wireless advantage. They're the ones who have that little kiosk in the food court at Park Meadows. You have to call their "satellite guy" and then he delivers it to the kiosk a few days later.
