I'm a little mystified by why DTV does not show the XM channel number in the Guide or Info.

Announcers on the XM stations often refer to other channels by their XM channel number, such as calling your attention to a special music show, but there is no way to translate that into a DTV channel number.

It would sure help if the "Real Jazz" channel, for example, were shown as XM78 instead of just XM in the Guide and Info panels.

GREAT suggestion...I would love that, too. When the XM channels first came on, I thought they'd mirror the channels on XM (maybe in the 2000's or 3000's, not in the 800's, and not starting at 801 -- and changing the order compared to XM's lineup...). This would be nice for those of us familiar with the XM channel #'s, too.

When XM replaced Music Choice I was surprised that the channel numbers weren’t include in the guide abbreviation. The Music Choice channels had their numbers included, even though they were pretty much useless to the average person. Showcase = MC1, Rock en Espanol = MC54 and so on.
