View Full Version : 721 and Coaxial connection (MONO)
If I use the coaxial connection on the 721 I only get a mono signal to the TV no matter what channel it is. If I hookup cable on to the same TV and same cable I get stereo. Has anyone else run into this problem? Could it be my 721. Any info would be great. Thanks, Mike

Design feature for ALL satellite receivers (and VCR's and...)
If you want stereo - use the RCA audio connectors and either the RCA jack composite video or the S-Video jack into your TV. OR you can use the TOSLINK connection into a compatable A/V receiver and get up to DD 5.1, PCM otherwise.
Stereo RF modulators run about $200 per RF channel. And they would still need to be hooked up through the RCA A/V jacks on the 721.
Thanks scooper. I have been in this for a while and I am surprised that this is the first time I have had this issue. I do have it hooked up to my Denon receiver, however I was setting up a small tv in another room. Thanks for the info. Mike
