To a point John I agree about "John Cooper's Ghost" Jim Tressel
Was the difference in this year's team winning it all..While I am not a Cooper fan by any means, 18 of 22 starters for OSU were Cooper's recruits. They should be loaded for next season. If Maurice Clarett can get his head on straight keep his mouth shut and play team ball, Ohio State should be a favorite to win it all next year.

GO BUCKEYES!!

Hi Tim, Recruiting was one thing Cooper did do very well, year after year. :)

I have to say that this was one hell of a game to watch - best college football game I've seen in a long time! Way to go OSU!

Why is wanting to play a little linebacker, not playing "team ball"? He could've bolted for the NFL(or tried to get rules changed). That might mean more time at RB for others and you might get better RB recruits who would otherwise be worried about playing time.
However, this year OSU was the team of destiny just like OU 2 years ago. Now, they will be ones to shoot down.

It sounds like Clarett is becoming a little bit of a distraction. From the media he could have cared less even if OSU won. Now changing and/or adding a position? He couldn't stay healthy at RB ... with a good team. If I am coach I tell him to shut the Fu*k up and do what he's told. Distractions cause dissension and with the roll OSU is having now .. they don't need that. I think that is what the above poster means by "team ball". And I agree 100%.

my opinion isn't going to be popular, but here it goes..

I'm extremely neutral when it comes to football... I hardly watch it. I did watch the final half of the 4th quarter, though. I don't think the pass interference call given to Miami was accurate... OSU's man had a chance to catch that ball before he was hit, it appeared.

sorry guys...
