Doesn't look very comfortable to me, the leather would never stand up to the dogs getting on it, and doesn't fit my green crushed velvet decor. :)

Bryan, don't be too quick to judge a horsehide by its seat cover. Actually, the chair is very comfy - it reclines in case you didn't notice. Frankly, I didn't realize that people in WV were such experts in interior design. BTW, here's a decorating hint for you - get rid of the hound dogs before they tear up your cherished last-centrury lime-green decor. :D

At that price, I may go back and buy several more for the two front lower levels of my screening room. I'm still waiting for my drink-soaked theater carpet to come back from the cleaners. Seems they had to pick the crushed popcorn out by hand. :D

I bought one of those chairs at a similar price at a different store. They are ok, but they have no or minimal Lumbar support and while comfortable for an hour or so, eventually they became very uncomfortable after watching a movie or two. It was worth $70, but you get what you pay for. I eventually replaced the chair with a real Lay-Z-Boy and it was like night and day.

Nick, where I'm at we identify more with Pittsburgh than being in WV. Green is my vavorite color :) My bedroom used to be in Desert Storm Camo. Camo curtans, bedspread, sheets, and lamp shade, sand color carpet, war map wallpaper, and to top it off a fish net vallance. :D

I'm with gcutler, I'm in the Lay-Z-Boy crowd. I like something I could fall asleep in.

Sorry Bryan, up here in Pittsburgh we still consider Wheeling to indentify with WV. I think Nick intended the chair to be inside, not on the front porch of your trailer where all upholstered furniture goes in WV.

*This post is entirely made in good fun and not intended to offend Bryan or anyone else from WV* :)

Well, I have tested the two new recliners with help of the young lady from next door. After she and I did a quick tag-team assembly job, we sat back in the new chairs and, being relatively new neighbors, proceeded to become better acquainted, with a little help from half a bottle of my friend Jack, one of the brest thangs ever to come out of WV, thang you verry mush.

I told her about this thread and how certain people (person) cast disdain upon my chairs without even a set-down. She said to tell him "he's nucking futs," that "any chair that will caress her sweet little butt (her words) through a half bottle of Jack is a damn good chair!" (again, her words, not mine)

Then she asked me if I had any porno tapes we could watch together.... :welcome:

I think the self medication may have dulled the attack to the pain centers the chair was causing :p

Wait until next summer....
With the heat and humidity that "horsehide" will be hotter than hell!
...and even hotter to your back and butt. :eek2:
Bet you never thought about that.
A/C to cool that down will cost you an arm and a leg.
Enjoy. :)

How's the bottom of the chair for mounting a Bass Shaker?
