My father is trying to get a couple of 322 receivers, and he is wondering whether his legacy dishes will do the job. From what I understand, 322 receiver's are "DishPro Plus" receiver's. His main interest is the Portuguese speaking channels that are found on 61.5 and 121 satellites. Any thoughts on what he needs? Will the legacy LNB's do the trick, or does he need DishPro type of LNB? Thank you all in advance.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong sub-forum. I wasn't sure of which one to put the question in.

It's support ALL types of LNBF starting from Legacy (include DirecTV) and all way up in Dish series.

I don't know if MYTOWN has a view of 61.5 but the easiest setup for 2 322 receivers would be a DPP twin on a dish 500 and a single or dual Dish Pro on a dish 500 aimed at 61.5. With a single RG6 and separators it should work.

Dish seems to be moving everything away from 121. Are those Portugese channels are available on another satellite? http://ekb.dbstalk.com/dishlist.htm
