So now Olive is playing the game and helping to solve the mystery. Fun.
Chi McBride still plays a big part of why I watch this show. (Besides Kristin Chenoweth and Anna Friel being so easy on my eyes :D ) He is just the perfect straight man for his role here. Loved his comment about the dead guy being so caffienated.
Hope the title doesn't offend, but it refers to the female dog variety, not the human variety! :)
I've decided that in terms of dialog, this show is the current broadcast network equivalent of Deadwood and John From Cincinnati ... all three shows require we pay close attention to the dialog! Seriously, there's some complex and rapid dialog in this series!

I've always liked Kristin Chenoweth.

Oops! Sorry, bdowell!
No worries at all. Figured the old thread slipped down from view a bit.
Great show though, and well worth talking about. (As I look forward to the next episode and count down the 2 days, 7 hours, 54 minutes until it airs :D )

Darn it, you're reminding me that I saw John from Cincy in something (the actor that had played him) over the last week but now I can't remember what the heck it was. I hate it when that happens. :(
I know I could look it up on IMDB, but I'll guess I'll just be somewhat surprised when I see him again.
Oh, wait, I remember now, it was Friday Night Lights (a show I only watch some of the time and not that hard even when I catch it....) Anyway, it was somewhat surprising to see 'him' on another show.

I would agree, except that's true for different reasons (and I would add Sports Night to this list as well). Deadwood you had to watch the dialogue because it was just hard to follow sometimes with the language and speech patterns. I really gave up on John from Cincinnati pretty early as I just found the show boring. This show, in order to catch half the jokes, you have to pay attention. Maybe this would be like a modern day Groucho Marx dialogue.

I completely agree about Chi McBride. He consistently gets the best lines, and his delivery of the line about the conversation being awkward had me laughing so hard I had to rewind a couple times.

I love this show, but I have a moderate hearing loss so the dialog is practically impossible for me to keep up with without cranking the volume. Thankfully, the closed-captioning is very good and on-time. Still sucks that it takes 15 clicks to turn it on, though.

As much as I try, it's hard for me to like this show. Pretty ladies or not, Chi McBride's cool voice or not, I am easily distracted while watching it. The computer work is subpar when viewed in HD, the plots are thin, and to be honest I don't care how many weeks or hours old someone is.
I finally watched this episode... I'm about 3 weeks behind because it's hard for me to get motivated to watch it.
