Yes, I believe so. But remember that all pro sports games will be blacked out on all channels except your local RSN.

also... college sports that are available on seasonal sports packages are also going to be blacked out (ie ESPN Gameplan and ESPN Full Court).

Actually, a lot of the college sports are in the clear for Sports Pack subscribers. There are very few college football blackouts in the Sports Pack, even for games on ESPN GamePlan. College basketball games are hit-and-miss. ACC, Big 12 and SEC games tend to get blacked out whether or not those games can be seen on ESPN Full Court. Big East games are in the clear and Big Ten games can now be seen on BTN nationwide without Sports Pack.

Some of those East Coast RSNs also have non-game programming that is blacked out. It is rediculous how that works.

I live in Phoenix, I went to OU. I have Sport Pack and see all the Sooners football every year except for one game that I have to buy PPV (21.95) this year. Now with HD RSN I get I think I've only had one that was in SD.

I suspect that if OU were not a perenial national contender then I would not see them as much.

Not here in Maryland. I get a lot of HD sports that I would not get because Comcast Mid Atlantic (while a Fox Sports affiliate) does a lot of local games rather than games like Big 12 games and MASN is SD all the way (and does a lot of local sports also).

Plus, it gets ESPNU and a lot of other channels.

Also, if you're into soccer, the Sports Pack gets you the Fox Soccer channel. Im on the fence right now as to whether its worth it for me or now.
