Searches not working consistently

I search for the keyword "FOOTBALL" and the category "Hi-def". Sometimes it pulls up a list of HD football games, but other times the games are missing and only some shows like "NFL Live" pull up. I can do the same search at another time and most of the games (not all) will show up. Anyone know what the problem is?

On my MythTV DVR system, NFL football games have "NFL Football" as the TITLE, and then the match-up (e.g. Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots) as the SUB-TITLE.

On my HR20, the TITLE is the match-up instead. This means that you cannot do a search for "NFL Football" to find all the games being shown. This if VERY irritating.

Why has Directv chosen to populate the guide data this way? And don't tell me it is how Tribune Media services delivers it to Directv, because my MythTV DVR gets it's data directly from Tribune Media Services as well and it does it "right".

I've seen some flakiness in the searches. I am running CE and using the Boolean but the other day I could reask the same search within seconds and get different results.

It seems more stable now (probably a reindexing problem).

That's what I'm seeing - different results at different times. I've compared the guide information and it looks the same - Football, Hi-def, etc. But the results just don't come up consistently, which makes the search feature just about useless.

This particular search was working a few months ago, but now I can't pull up a list of HD football games. The results will show some of the games but not others and I get different results at different times. Any suggestions on who I can complain to at DirecTV that might yield results?
