View Full Version : Non 5.1 Audio Problem

Ever since the last software update, any programming that isn't 5.1 (I believe) has gone silent.

During primetime that usually means fine audio for programming, and silent commercials, but for other channels it means no audio at all unless I set my audio default to DD off.

Anyone experiencing something similar and know if there is a fix?

Have you done a reset? It is not a problem with the current firmware.

Yeah, couple of resets, unplugged for 5 minutes, etc.

The channels that don't come across in 5.1 mode are just fine on PCM.

Oh, it should also be noted that when the audio is out, my subwoofer still registers the bass.

I'm starting to think it might be my amp/receiver, but so far it seems to decode all other signals fine.
