So I got the Hughes GAEB0 I won from Ebay and it's not 100% functional - it boots but is stuck on Searching for satellite Signal, press select to go to the menu. Problem is it won't accept the select button. No biggie - I knew it was a crapshoot and the auction was an as is, so at worst I'm out $18.
But I got to thinking maybe the receiver is not working because of the Slimline dish I have for the HR21 since none of this stuff was even on the map when the unit was made.
So will this configuration work or must I get a newer receiver to work with the new dish?
