Adding a HD to the 721 PVR

Can you add a hard drive to the 721 PVR to up the record time.
Just a passing thought. My brother in law did this to his tivo..

There is probably a way of having an external hard drive but it would be harder according to what I have read in a past post. I wonder if one could have two hard drives instead of just one.

What about replacing the current drive with another one? Either larger or less noisy :)

They are married to the box. So you cant do that. A serious mistake given the poor life expectancies of HDs.
