DVP3140 remote code for DirecTV universal remote?

I picked up the Philips DVP3140 dvd player a month ago and I've been unable to get the DirecTV universal remote supplied with my HR20 to work with it. I've tried all the codes for Philips and Magnavox. Any ideas? Thanks.

Just bought this player as well...I'm having the same problem...I've tried about 30 different codes from the D* website...none work...any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I have a RC64 manual, the only codes I'm seeing for Philips DVD players are:

20503, 20539, 20646, 20671, 20675, 20854, 21260, 21267, 21340, & 21354

Another thing you may want to try is to look in the manual you got with the Philips DVP3140. Some manufacturers list codes for DIRECTV (or other) universal remotes in their manual.
