When will remote booking be on for everyone? So far, I have nothing on my end. I have noticed other people are able to set shows to record online.

Any information?

This is the obvious question that everyone has asked in a vague non-direct way. And so many questions about what is needed and the status of it have surprisingly gone unanswered. I find it strange. We will see if your effort gets a response.

Well my biggest question is how it could only be offered to some thus far and not others.

That one is answered in many threads. And those of us that did not get activated are not thrilled about it, but there is little we can do. They simply will activate customers in batches based on whatever criteria they are using. Supposedly if you have your HR20 networked and are running a CE, you can qualify for activation. But they have to recogonize that fact and then actually activate you.

Apparently your access card # was needed to access the phone version of remote booking. And even then there are many that submitted their access card & did not get activated. So who knows?????

Perhaps if you sacrificed a chicken or small rodent or something like that it would make a difference :D

Yeah, I figured it had been answered in other threads. Sometimes it's easier to just come out and ask and get fresh responses. Especially when the facts could change at any minute.

All sarcasim aside....

-) It is in a beta testing phase right now.
-) Testers were selected from those that have participated in CE downloads in the past, where DirecTV was able to identify their systems via the network call back function
-) Tersters were also selected from those that submitted thier Access cards when the request was made.

Not everyone that was a CE tester, nor submitted their card was added.
As right now it is a manual process on their side of the equation.

As for when everyone will have access... there is no set date/timeframe.

Thanks Earl. That at least clears that up for me. I was afraid I had missed something.
