Another browser that will never get on this computer. :D
I might try it, but like Opera, Netscape 6+ and Mozilla, it wil be gone with in an hour after installation I bet.

I sure hope they release it for Windows. But I'll bet they do. Apple must realise that any browser must be available for Windows to get adequate market share to be taken seriously by site designers. And I can hardly wait to try it out if and when they do!

Apple won't even release if for older versions of OSX, so I think seeing it on Windows might be far fetched.

Here is the website for the browser...

www.apple.com/safari

Jobs only wants to cut into Microsoft's share on Apple boxes. It must have driven him nuts that he ever had to use software written by Microsoft. Has Apple ever released anything in Windows?

Jobs is quoted as saying MS apps are "3rd Rate". Not even 2nd Rate, but 3rd Rate. That says alot about Jobs point of view, with MS. The Apple/MS partnership must have been a strenuous one?

"Has Apple ever released anything in Windows?"

The iPod (yes, I know it's hardware:) But it comes with software) and QuickTime. A web browser is much like a media player (QuickTime); in that surly Apple realises it MUST be cross-platform to survive.
