tonight i was surfing my HD channels on my newly installed vip722.
viewing ABC [ota for nyc] was being broad cast in HD. I thought i'd compare pq for the same channel on E*'s locals.
here is what happened. viewing ota ABC was 16:9 in HD. Viewing E*'s locals ABC was 4:3 SD was being broadcast !
if the ABC network is brodcasting HD shouldn't E*'s locals do the same ?
to substanciate the above, i hit the r/c's info key and it showed HD for ABC ota, and SD for E*'s ABC.
r/c [aspect ratio] key set at normal .
what gives ? anyone ?
