Discounts for Directv, for General Motors employees?

My brother in-law and I are retired General Motors employees. He just told me today that we are eligible for Directv discounts. Does any one know what these "discounts" include? Dennis

Doesn't look any different than any other new customer offer. Three free receivers, standard installation, etc.

I first got into DirecTV because of an employee discount. About $600 for $800 worth of equipment back in '96. That receiver is now sitting on a shelf. My company was owned at the time by Hughes. I also got $5 off coupons for programming as well. Then my company was sold to Raytheon, but the $5 coupons kept coming. Then I left the company and still the coupons came. They finally stopped. :(

Check a little further with GM. they may have an employee or former IE. retired employee account access. If so they may pay for the total choice programming for you any additional you would be responsible for. I have this type of account and it works out really well.

You mean GM pays for the total choice sub and you pay for the additional?

Yes if they have this program like i said i work for an HSP and they pay for the TC package and anything else i pay for
