I see there has been a workaround for diplexing ota with the new slimline.... just a quick question as I am new to satellite.... can channels received via ota be recorded with hr20???

Yes and no, you can record any of the OTA's that you pick up and can see in the guide on your HR20, depending on your location you may be able to receive additional channels OTA that the HR20 does not report as part of your DMA. Short answer though if you see it in the guide and you don't get a 771 error when you tune to it you can record it.
