EURO 2008 in HD

SO here's a question, I know that ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC are covering every match at Euro 2008 next year. My question is what do you think the odds are that they will be in HD? I have a fear that now that England is out, ESPN will do this on the cheap, and pick up someone else's feed, and we won't get it in HD. Kind of like the was Fox Soccer channel does it, which ensures we may never see a match on 613 in HD.

UEFA is providing the only international feed, and they will be supplying HD and SD. I am sure the rights to the feed have long since been paid for, and it's assumed that the broadcasts will be HD. They showed all the women's world cup games in SD widescreen or HD when available, I don't see that changing as long as UEFA is providing the feed.

Better news would have been if England didn't choke and had qualified. Instead they'll be sitting at home and watching with the rest of us. :(
