Mods, if this post falls outside the lines, please delete. I don't think it does...
My brother lives in Gainesville, FL (with just zero availability of SD and HD locals, and cable isn't any better. The rules for Gainesville are so ridiculous - they get NBC from Jacksonville, but since Gainesville isn't strictly in the Jacksonville market for ALL channels, they can't get the NBC local in either SD or HD via D*. That's just one example. They can via cable.
He spends a lot of time working in Orlando, FL and has an address there as well (maybe 30% of his time is there).
He'd like to get D* and use his Orlando address, but of course mirror his service to his Gainesville home so that he gets the channels. He'd like to do this pretty much above board, but is naturally concerned about calling someone to install his equipment at his Gainesville address and then have Orlando service there as well.
Any thoughts on the best way to do this, or if it can be done? Looking for legal solutions, or I would not have posted here. And I know tons of you have done it. :-)
