Which New Plasma TV's work well with Dish Remotes

I am buying a new Plasma or LCD TV and wanted to know is any particular brand work well with the Dish Remotes. I really like my Dish remote and simply want to get a new HDTV that works well with it. I have heard many new LCD TV's do not respond whatsoever to any of the Dish Remote codes using the powerscan. There must be some brands that work well???

Input select
Volume
Mute

Uh, I really wouldn't base what TV I buy off of 1 remote, that's just silly.

my panasonic works very well with dish remote.its the 42" one wish i had got the 50" one though.

Here's an unofficial welcome aboard. Seriously, it sounds like you're not asking much of your remote at all, and you don't sound like you want something really difficult to program. Any learning remote out there, or the "Activity-based" remotes like Harmony's will get you exactly what you're looking for. You don't say if you have a DVR receiver, but if you do, you'll definitely want to be able to skip forward and backwards, which will definitely need a learning aspect. I also have Panasonic plasma that works well with the Dish remote.

I have an LCD, the Mits 46231. I have DISH with full HD and the HD DVR (622). The remote works flawlessly. Never had a problem. And that goes for the 622 also. Absolutely without so much as one problem.:) Welcome aboard!!
