Big Problems

I currently have a d11-100 and last week I seemed to loose all signal to that receiver. I ran the system test on it and it says the tuner failed. I being the novice that I am, I purchased a new one off ebay. same model. It comes up with the same error. after a few minutes to 20 minutes the tuner will pic up signal and all is right with the tuner till I decide to turn the channel. then the worlds become un-alligned and have to wait again. My wife purchased a d12-300 and still same errors. is there anyone out there that has any clue. I moved the receivers to my room which is occupied by a r15(which works fine) and tried up there but still come up short. Please help...

You're probably gonna want to call DirecTV and have a tech come out. If you have the protection plan, any repairs should be covered. If you don't, you can add it on for about $6/month and you'll have to pay $75 for the first call out. Might be worth it as opposed to buying additional receivers that don't seem to work.

It sounds like he has DIRECTV LA.

I am not sure on their service call policy.
