Anybody have this problem before? Im getting searching for signal on a few HBO channels and one Cinemax. The channels Im not getting a signal on are 502, 505, 507, 508, and 512 (non HD). It did snow very lightly here today. Could that be the problem?

I'm getting all channels you described. No errors.

Yes, it could definately be the problem.

What is your signal strength on the 101 Satellite? ( I am assuming you are talking about the standard, and not HD channels)

OK I just did a search on this site and noticed its transponder 30 on the 101 satellite that these channels come from. My signal strength is 0 on this transponder. All other transponders on this satellite are high 90's except 17 = 0, 28 = 0, 31 = 80, & 32 = 67. All others are around 97.

The picture came back with a ton of break ups for a little while but then I lost the signal again. Im thinking its gotta be ice or snow on the dish, right?

Depending on where the snow sticks, could definitely be the culprit. I lived in Cleveland, OH for 7 years, recommend some Rain X in the dish a few times per year. Will slide right off.....

I had the same exact issues Mon-Wed of this week. We received snow Sunday night into Monday. By the time I got home from work last night, all were able to be viewed. I suspect snow/ice on the dish.

I lost ESPN, HBO, UHD, TNT, and HDNet Movies...However, HDNet and my other HD channels were fine. We had snow too so I'll see if all is well this afternoon.

You lost the 110, but not the 119. Odd.

That has happened to me before when living in Ohio. Some snow sticking, based on how much and I guess where on the dish would affect recieving certain channels. Like I would lose some, still get locals, etc.
