I have a Sony HDTV with a DVI-D input and want to know if the 6000 receiver's RGB out is true digital or analog?

According to my many hours of research....the DVI-D input on the Sony will not take anything analog.

Help..any ideas? I am looking for an adapter to go from the RGB on the 6000 out to the DVI-D input on my Sony...if it is digital?

I have component now but some on posts earlier commented how much better the picture could look going RGB.

The 6000 out (15 pin RGB) is analog RGB, the 6000 can't output digital/DVI currently. There was a rumor a while back they were going to create a DVI card for it, but it turned out to be the 8PSK card.

RGBHV is RGBHV. It's analog. RGB will never be anything OTHER than analog :)

I appreciate both of you replying and thank you. Even Dish Tech Support didn't know the answer.

I love the 6000 and the picture so much better with proper decompression and processing. I'll keep it on component in HD mode all the time and wait for something new to plug in to the DVI-D plug later.

Thanks
