Got my first view of CBS-HD last night watching the Jets/Raiders game. HOLY CRAP!!! It was incredible! Stunning! I WANT MORE!!! I checked the CBS web site, and they have a grid that shows prime time HDTV shows, but it does not go beyond that.

Anyone know if Letterman is HD? Any other broadcasts? This stuff is great. I may have to break down and watch a few CBS network TV shows now!! :D :D

(Any chance Dish will do ABC and NBC next?)

Quite a bit of the CBS Prime Time lineup is done in HD, but I don't think Letterman is (yet). The "reality" shows aren't done in HD either. www.titantv.com is supposed to show the Digital schedules as well as analog ones. Check out www.avsforums.com for additional info on Digital TV / HDTV.

All of CBS' primetime shows except for the reality shows are broadcast in HD. It's what brought me back to watching CBS as well. ABC is a close second with quantity of HD broadcasts.

Which markets have CBS-HD available to them? LA? NYC?

CBS has more OTA affiliates broadcasting in HD than any of the other networks.

You can check at: http://www.cbs.com/info/hdtv/ if they are broadcasting in HD in your area. 8VSB and antenna obviously needed if you have a E* 6000 receiver.

Last week's CSI (set here in Vegas) was absolutely awesome in HD!

You can get CBS-HD from NY or LA if you live there, are in the DMA of one of the CBS-owned stations and outside Grade B of a neighboring DMA, or are in a white zone where you qualify for distant networks. See http://ekb.dbstalk.com/107.

Thanks, BobaBird.

Looks like I'm out of luck for now, as the San Diego affiliate is not on the list of owned-and operated stations. I can't get a good OTA signal where I live, due to my local terrrain... :(
