721 unknown recording

Last Thursday, I was recording some shows for my wife, Friends, Will & Grace, ER, etc... mostly NBC from 7 to 10 PM CST, I decided to record a NHL Center ICE game at about 5 PM that started at 7 PM.  I came in to watch the game around 8 PM, and went to the PVR menu and the game wasn't showing up in that menu, then went to PIP/Swap and it was showing as "Recording" and I could rewind, pause, everything.  I then waited for a break in the action to stop the recording and start it again.  After stopping it, and trying to start recording it again, it had a conflict with itself.  It took me a couple times to figure out the correct sequence and it started up again and was showing up in the PVR, but it was flaky.  If I paused it, it would show 1940:1 minutes delayed. and then un-pausing it would go to live and would not rewind.  I ended up having to watch the game live, because my wife would be upset if she missed her recordings, but was wondering if anyone else had this happen?  FYI, I rebooted it about 2 days before, and did another reboot and things have been working again.

Oh, I forgot to add that after I stopped the first recording, it eventually showed up in my PVR list as "Unknown Recording".

I had a similar problem last night with Alias and malcom in the middle. I was recording both and we went to watch Alias about 20 minutes into it and it didn't show up in the PVR listing. I went to PIP to bring it up and it had the REC symbol on it and I could rewind it to the beginning. Malcolm seemed to record fine and showed up in the PVR list.

I think what might have been part of it was that we were watching the Simpsons, which we had recorded, starting about the same time as Alias and Malcom.
